...and All We Got Was 20,000 Blenders
Some people just don't know when to stop inviting guests, (like the 500 plus wedding list of Donald Trumps most recent acquisition...I mean wedding in January of 2005.) Well, I guess this means Donald Trump will have to take another walk down the aisle to upstage this wedding. A Taiwanese parliamentarian saw his son's wedding not just a joining of two souls but the social event of the century. With a guest list of 20,000, larger than some towns, the reception was crowded into a stadium in the small coastal town of Shalu. Approximately 1980 tables with 10 guests each shared the intimate ceremony. This makes for the largest wedding banquet in Taiwanese history and one of the single most pointless displays of wealth outside of Las Vegas.
