Angry Father of the Bride Threatens to 'Blow Up Couple'

It's not too often that we see a wedding in need of large scale security. (Unless you are J.Lo making your 12th appearance as a blushing bride.)But when you are 17 years old bride Andrea Martino and you dad threatens to ambush the big day, Matrix style, some police involvement might be necessary. Armed police officers surrounded the wedding and reception after the father of the bride allegedly threatened to shoot the bride and blow-up the groom, Brian Elliott. Cops with guns hid in bushes and behind gravestones during the service to ensure nothing bad went down. In addition, there was an alleged threat to blow up the ‘Just Married' limo, so it had a five-car armed police escort to the reception. (We had wedding day Barbie, but we guess our parents were just too cheap to afford the Totally Armed Forces Police Escorts...those bastards...)The feared father, Antonio Martino, said yesterday: “I have got no idea when these allegations about the wedding were meant to have been made but I didn’t make any threats like that. People are just making it up.” The dad was arrested at his home in the town on suspicion of making threats to kill. He was later freed on police bail.

The love smitten couple met at a Laundromat just a few months ago and just had to get married. No word on why the father was allegedly so furious over the nuptials but we think it may have involved the words 'chicken' and 'dance.'
