Do You, 7 Year Old Girl, Take This Dog...

Curses are strange things, kinda like a pack of weasles...(We should know, we've been hexed on more than a few occasions... by some weasles) Some people will do anything to remove a curse from them including marry a dog. Though we all have affectionate feelings towards our barking four-legged friends, a family in eastern India is convinced that having their seven year old daughter marry a dog would save their family from "an evil eye" curse. The little girl Shivam Munda unfortunately grew upper teeth before her lower teeth appeared; this is considered a bad omen to the members of the Santhal ethnic group that her family belongs to. Fortunately for her, her daddy said the marriage was only to remove the curse (well, that makes perfect sense then!) and she would be free to marry a man later in life.
