How Not to Stop a Wedding....

Family bonds are strong, even in the most tension-filled circles like when your mom steals your boyfriend or your grandfather is really his evil twin brother... (Soap operas teach us so much about who we really are...)But, in this case two brothers from Queens, New York called in a bomb threat at an airport to prevent their sister from leaving town to marry the man that was not chosen for her. Aandeep Singh, 24, and Gurpreet Singh, 26, were arrested Thursday on charges they phoned MacArthur Airport in Islip on Jan. 17 and gave a bogus tip that terrorists were planning to bomb a plane. Their sister was flying to Atlanta to be with her boyfriend, ending the plans her family had for her to marry a doctor in India. (Hopefully they read the pamphlet...) Unfortunatly for the misguided brothers, no flights were cancelled and only security was upped after the bogus threat. The men are charged with a misdemeanor: filing a false police report. The sister delayed her plans to leave but married the boyfriend after all.
