Divorce rates seem to be climbing in every country these days. India is mad and just and won’t take it any more! Amid claims that many NRI marriages aren't working out very well. Complaints have been coming in that the grooms are ::gasps:: cheating on and abandoning their wives once they leave the country's shores. So, what is a country to do? In an all out effort to preserve marriages the government will start counseling centers abroad and has published tips in the booklet "Marriages to Overseas Indians" for families and friends. One of the helpful tips include how to avoid being duped by a groom in several areas (because they are ever so sneaky...oh wait...we're thinking of weasels...) The main tip is to never decide in haste but to make a series of careful checks on the grooms. So, we guess they won't be promoting the Bollywood version of Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire any time soon.
