Update: Motorcycle Lovin' Groom Marries Jilted Bride

We at Wedding Heckler are surprised almost every day at the things women will put up with just to get married. We reported earlier about a young man who bolted from his wedding in Calcutta mid-ceremony when the future in-laws refused to up the dowry to include a motorcycle. It's a crime to try to demand more money or items in a dowry, so Rajiv Shaw was a wanted man...that is until he turned himself in and was accompanied by his blushing bride whom he left 4 days earlier. Yes the very same women he left at the alter showed up with him at the courthouse where he asked for a pardon and then registered their marriage in the court in front of a judge. He apparently apologized for his 'grave mistake' and said he would still like to marry dear Rita. (We didn't know Hallmark made an 'Opps! I Didn't Mean to Leave You at the Alter' card...) She said she had no complaints about the groom or his family. Without a complaint there was no case and charges were dropped against the motorcycle lovin' groom. Apparently the bride has faith in her new husband. We'd hate to see what happens when she has a baby and he really wanted was some sweet mag wheels.
