White Sox Wedding Coming Soon

For White Sox fans, winning the World Series was a very special day. But if there are any fans out there who want to spend their own special day with the White Sox, you now have your chance. The defending champs have planned a group wedding at U.S. Cellular field on June 3, 2006 just before the Sox take on the Texas Rangers. The ceremony will take place at 4pm and the game is scheduled for 6:05. (Ah, just enough time for the newlyweds to scarf down some stadium dogs and a beer before the reception, ummm....we mean baseball game, begins.) Joining in on the group wedding isn't cheap though. The cost is $500 per couple but it does include two premium lower-deck tickets to the game. Time's running out for those baseball fans who may be procrastinating, couples must sign up by April 15th.(Ah, it reminds us of our Uncle Theo's wedding...except there won't be as much beer and we doubt any use of a baseball bat will result in an appearance by the police.)
