Groom-to-Be Attacks Matchmaker

Some men just want to get married so badly, even if they don't admit it right away. (We laugh at the ole ball and chain...until we get lonely...you know to much now...) Well, a man allegedly attacked a security guard with a knife after the botched deal to bring a foreign bride to him) The security guard, Lee Teong Boon, 38, had promised Wong Heng San, 33, that he would arrange for a relative from Indonesia to come to Singapore to marry him. The man spent lots of money to bring his bride-to-be to the country but once she got to Singapore he discovered the girl was under 21 and needed written consent of her parents to marry. Believing he had been fooled, Wong thought he had been made a fool but instead of talking to Lee to try and settle the misunderstanding...he took things in the other direction. (And we like it that way!) Wong and a friend attacked Lee with a kitchen knife and injured him in the right shoulder. Though he may have felt better, Wong is still without a bride and is now spending two years in jail. (No woman is ever worth it...now leave us alone...we need to sit in the corner and cry ::sniff sniff::)
