Is TomKat Married?

Though the date has officially been set for the fourth of July, reports are surfacing that Tom Cruise and fiancee Katie Holmes reportedly swapped rings in a Scientology ceremony last July around Tom's birthday.(What is with this man and celebrating things around his birthday? Are presents not enough?)The allegedly held the service aboard a Scientology ship during a cruise to Aruba to celebrate the big man's birthday last year. The rings were reportedly adorned with the triangular Scientology symbol. The British newspaper The Sun is reported it's source as cooing "Katie wore a flowing white dress and Tom was in a black suit as they exchanged rings during the brief 30-minute ceremony." Non of Katie's family was there but John Travolta was. (That's all who really needs to be at your wedding right? He's listed as a top 10 essential in bridal magazines too!) But Cruise's people are saying "All I can say is they are not married in any sense of the word." Hey, stranger things have happened.
